Hi, I'm Quinn Gao.

This is a tech blog that holds my most recent notes and rants.

I am Quinn Gao, a physics researcher with a background in software engineering. People also know me for my Wikipedia contributions as SuperGrey, including Cite Unseen, a tool that helps editors identify which references cited in a Wikipedia article are less reliable. This tool has been used by thousands of editors to improve the quality of Wikipedia articles.

I recently built LaTeX Suite, a cross-platform desktop application for composing LaTeX formulas on the fly. I still use Notion for note-taking, and Notion's formula editor is just a textbox with a preview panel. Many other note-taking apps have similar formula editors, and I really want to improve my writing experience in these apps. LaTeX Suite is my attempt to do so.

Starting 2026, I'll try to update this blog more often, as an effort to improve my English writing.

I also have a Chinese blog focused on anime reviews and life updates. I'll update that blog more often as well, as my new year's resolution.
